The "OK" and "Apply" buttons in this dialog update the graph control with settings from the dialog. The "Save" button updates the graph control and saves settings to disk. The current printing-related settings are also saved.
PAGE SIZE & DRAWING RESOLUTION:
The size of pages shown after using "Page Setup" reflects the total number of pixels available for drawing on one of the printer's pages at the chosen resolution. The maximum drawing resolution for a specific printer is achieved by choosing the smallest "reduction" available via "Page Setup". Example: 25% for LaserWriter = 4x screen resolution and a page size > 2000 x 2000 pixels.
SELECTION RECTANGLE:
The selection or "frame" rectangle is used to define:
• Picture(s) to cut, copy, combine, move, resize, or save. Only one picture at a time can be cut, copied, or saved.
• Graph area copied as a bit- or pixmap with "Copy Pixels".
• Location of next picture opened or pasted into the graph control. The top, left corners of the picture and frame are aligned.
• Portion of graph to print with "Print Selection".
